World Healing

Once we awaken to the spiritual power of our personal healing, we realize that we can form channels of light for world healing. The Great World Mantric phrases have been given to humanity to bring about the wholeness and the unity that creates healing. A Mantram is a combination of sounds, of words and of phrases which, because of certain rhythmic effects, achieve results that would not be possible apart from them. The potency of a mantram depends upon the point in evolution of the one who employs it.

A mantram, when rightly sounded forth, creates a vacuum in matter resembling a funnel. This funnel is formed between the one who sounds it forth and the one who is reached by the sound. There is then formed a direct channel of communication. There are mantrams for use in healing, mantrams of protection, mantrams of discipleship, mantrams that put one in touch with the Will or with the Love aspect, or with Light; mantrams that invoke the God within, work with the mental plane, abstract or concrete.

We can all become creative agents for the good of humanity.The test is to realize how important our response is to our present world crisis. When we invoke the Light and Love and Will of God, we are widening the channel for this divine help to reach the masses of humanity. Each of us can use the power of visualization and picture humanity learning to cooperate to act unselfishly from wisdom and compassion.

The most powerful and widespread world invocation today is the original version of The Great Invocation. By joining with the souls who are using this invocation for world healing, we add to this magnetic group light.

All the major religions expect a return of a world Teacher. This teacher is known to Christians as the Christ, to Buddhists as the Lord Maitreya, to Muslims as the Imam Madhi, to Jews as the Messiah, and to Hindus as the Lord Krishna. Each religion uses the name of its own expected one. Many use these names as the symbol for the return of pure Spiritual Love and Light to the minds and hearts of all. You can also substitute the word "Divine Love" for Christ; the meaning remains the same.

Invocation for the United Nations

May the Peace and the Blessings of the Holy Ones
pour forth over the worlds --
rest upon the United Nations, on the work and the workers,
protecting, purifying, energizing and strengthening.
There is a Peace which passeth understanding.
It abides in the hearts of those who live in the Eternal.
There is a Power that maketh all things new.
It lives and moves in those who know the Self as One.
May the rhythm of that Peace vibrate within the United Nations
and in the heart of every worker.
May the Rhythm of that Creative Power resound within the United Nations
